The Government has released over Rs 151 billion for various development projects under Public Sector Development Programme (PSDP) 2016-17 up to 28th of last month.
According to data released by the Planning Commission, over forty-two billion rupees have been released for Special Federal Development Programme for Temporary Displaced Persons (TDPs) and security enhancement. Twenty billion rupees were release for Prime Minister’s Global Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) achievement programme.
Likewise, nineteen billion rupees have been released to National Highway Authority (NHA) for different road projects and over nine billion rupees to Railways Division for its projects. Over ten billion rupees were released for water and power sector development projects during this period.
