The first phase of Raiwind’s Tableeghi congregation concluded here on Sunday with special prayers for peace, prosperity and integrity of the country and unity of Muslim Ummah.
The first phase continued for three days at Raiwind, the headquarters of Tableeghi Jamaat, which attracted hundreds of thousands of faithfuls from across the country.
During the congregation, Ulema and preachers urged the people to lead their lives according to the teachings of Quran and Sunnah.
The participants vowed to lead their lives as per the divine guidance and Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH). The special prayers on last day of the congregation were led by Tableeghi Jamaat Amir Haji Abdul Wahab.
During the prayers, touching scenes were witnessed as the faithful repented their sins and sought Allah Almighty’s blessings with tears. They also offered special prayers for the unity and resurgence of the Muslim Ummah.
After the concluding session, the participants departed for their homes. Long queues of vehicle and traffic rush was witnessed following the conclusion of the congregation.
Special security arrangements were made by the provincial government for the congregation. The second phase of the congregation will start from November 10 which will conclude on November 13.
