Ever since the release of xXx: Return of Xander Cage’s trailer, fans have been swooning over Deepika Padukone and Vin Diesel’s chemistry.
The two give us some major friendship goals as they gush over their off-screen relationship time and again. And now, Deepika has revealed that Hindustan Times reported.
“He and his sister, Samantha, are to me what Shah Rukh Khan and Farah Khan were when I started out here. They are family,” she said.
Deepika shared that Vin is the first person she calls every time she comes to Los Angeles.
Deepika first worked with Shah Rukh in the Bollywood film Om Shanti Om in 2007, and their bond has grown leaps and bounds since.
The 30-year-old actor said she learnt the key to a conducive working environment is good relationships which she shares with Vin and his sister. “I was a bundle of nerves on my first day on set because I was so far away from home and everyone was new and everything felt unfamiliar. But early on I realised that the process is exactly the same. People are different. If you can make the relationships work, it’s all smooth sailing,” she said.
Deeps and Vin will be sharing screen space in the upcoming film xXx: Return of Xander Cage slated to release in January 2017.
