DIG Dr Haider Ashraf said that foolproof security arrangements would be made for the annual religious congregation of the Tableeghi Jamaat which is to be held on November 4 in Raiwind.
The security arrangements include walk through gates, barbed wires, sniffer dogs and the participants, who include people from all over the country, will go through full body search before they are allowed to enter the premises.
The participants will also go through biometric verification, the DIG said. He further told that 3000 police officials would be deployed to perform their duties under the supervision of 2 SSPs, 6 BSPs, and 21 inspectors
The annual religious gathering starts November 4 (today) and will continue till November 6. The congregation will take place in two phases.
