Awami Muslim League (AML) chief Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Sheikh Rasheed on Wednesday said that the prime minister was badly trapped in the ‘infamous’ Panama Leaks case.

Speaking to media after the hearing of disqualification references in the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP), he said that all eyes were on the Supreme Court for accountability of the prime minister for his corruption in Panama Papers.

Rejecting impression of a rift between Imran Khan and him after over PTI’s cancellation of protest, the AML chief said he was and would remain an ally of Khan in his fight against corruption in the country.

The PTI was observing ‘Thanksgiving Day’ in the federal capital on Wednesday, instead of a previously planned protest and sit-in.

Imran Khan took the unexpected pick when the Supreme Court (SC) of Pakistan on Tuesday began hearing a case into the ‘Panama Papers’ leaks and offered to form a commission to investigate revelations that Sharif’s children held offshore bank accounts.

The court had also asked the Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family to submit an answer within two days.

  1. Shaikh Rashid a zero, a real problem and had he been the politician in the West, he would never had been given so huge attention from media to such tonga party. Only and only in Pakistan such politicians can survive. These kind of people shall make all their efforts to put hurdles on democratic process just make a place in military dictatorship for themselves.

Both Shaikh Rasheed and Imran Khan says that Musharraf's dictatorship was better than present democratic rule but remember that Radha can only dance if there is stage for dancing and it's utterly difficult to have a stage in dictatorship environment.. .
