At least four kilogram of heroin was recovered from a passenger boarded on a plane of Qatar Airline on Wednesday.
ASF sources said that the accused boarded a Qatar Airlines flight from Islamabad for Doha.
The heroin was concealed in lavatory panels, and was discovered while routine maintenance and checking was being carried out in the plane at Islamabad International Airport.
According to Customs and Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF) officials, the narcotics are worth millions of dollar in international market.
An investigation into the incident has been initiated.
