PPP Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Tuesday that his party would only accept the judicial commission if its terms of references (TORs) are based on the Panama Bill once adopted by the Parliament.

Reacting to PTI’s decision to abruptly call off its call for protests in Islamabad, Bilawal felicitated all the political workers of Pakistan for political developments.

“A victory for democracy is a victory for the Pakistan People’s Party,” he said, adding that the prime minister has to accept his party’s four demands.

“We also demand the resignation of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali for his failure in implementing NAP,” he said.

Democracy is the best revenge, concluded the PPP chairman.

The four demands included the acceptance of the Panama Papers inquiry bill, appointment of a foreign minister, reinstating the standing committee on terrorism, and incorporating PPP recommendations on China-Pakistan Economic Corridor.

He asked the prime minister to accept the demands by December 27 otherwise he would call for a long march. However, he had pulled the deadline earlier and demanded a reply by November 8.

Bilawal also said that it was time for democratic accountability and a new PPP.

Meanwhile, Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah called on Bilawal Bhutto to discuss the political situation after the decision of Imran Khan to pullout from the lockdown of Islamabad on November 2.

Bilawal said that peaceful protest was the democratic right of everyone, but resorting to violence was the characteristic of the government of Nawaz Sharif.

He said that those who were the creation of military dictators and the sympathizers of terrorists would never understand the right to peaceful protest.

Aseefa Bhutto Zardari has said that Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif was still worried about the shadow uniform of Pervaiz Musharraf.

She tweeted that unlike him, Benazir Bhutto had the courage to stand up against dictator irrespective of his rank and authority.

She also called Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaaf Chairman Imran Khan as ‘U-turn Khan’ after his decision to retreat from the Islamabad lockdown.

In his recent statement, Leader of the Opposition in National Assembly Syed Khursheed Shah has revealed if the government has any vision, then it should not oppose our proposed bill in Senate on November 4.

He stressed that PPP bill demanded probe into every corruption cases including Panama Leaks.

Khursheed Shah said that the current turmoil could not end and would instead grow more. He was of the opinion that the PTI and the government would not agree over ToRs. He said that if the crisis didn’t come to an end, Nawaz Sharif would embrace political martyrdom but not resign from his designation instead.

Khursheed Shah also revealed that the Rangers DG could not rebuke Sindh CM and that the provincial government was completely safe this time.
