Deputy Mayor Dr Arshad Vohra has deputed a monitoring team that would review situation by visiting the departments and action will be taken against those who violate his directives about resolution of the problems of the masses.
In a statement issued on Tuesday, the deputy mayor has directed all the departmental heads of KMC to pay full attention to solution of problems facing by the citizens.
He said since the present elected representatives assumed charge in KMC there was a huge influx of general public and KMC employees seeking solution of their problems.
He directed all the heads of departments to take charge of the situation immediately and all efforts must be made to skilfully address individual problems and adopt a helping response as per rules and law. He said these orders must be disseminated at all levels down the line.
Why only within the Offices ? They should go around the city – see for himself/themselves and ask the residents about the problems.
