Pakistan all-rounder Shoaib Malik said he has started preparations for the five-match one-day international series against Australia that will start from January 13, 2017.
In an interview, Malik said he practices a lot on hard surfaces because pitches in Australia have extra bounce.
The 34-year-old, who has retired from Test cricket, appreciated the decision of Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) to face Australia after New Zealand and said that the players would be getting more experience due to similarities in the pitches.
In 1999, Shoaib Malik debuted against West Indies and Sri Lanka in Sharjah by replacing Shahid Afridi.
