Policemen have been taking bribes to let Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf workers move on to Bani Gala.
A private news channel received footage of a policeman receiving a paltry sum of Rs 100 in exchange for letting PTI workers pass on to their destination at Bani Gala.
The small amount suggests, first, that this is not an isolated incident; second, that even the policemen deployed to block roads must have some sympathy for PTI’s workers and their protest, proving once again, that it is unreasonable to use force to crush democratic movements, unless one is willing to engage absolute force.
