Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) spokesperson Naeem-ul-Haq denied claims made by Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Sherry Rehman on a Facebook post saying that PTI Chairman Imran Khan has issued a notice to party workers asking them to bring weapons along with their families to Islamabad lockdown on Nov 2.

According to a Facebook post shared by Sherry Rehman, the notice issued comes with directions on avoiding arrest or use of force by the state.

Imran Khan asked all party workers to bring gas masks and shields to fight against ‘barbarians’, according to a statement issued in the notice.

The party chairman also encouraged workers with licensed arms to bring their weapons to the protest.

However, PTI leader Naeem-ul-Haq denied the existence of such a notice.
