Kh Asif defends use of ‘tear gas, bullets’, hints at Gen Raheel to ‘leave a legacy’ behind

Talking to a private news channel, Defense Minister Khawaja Asif has defended the use of force against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) protesters by citing the example of United States of America.

“Tear gas and bullets are also used in the US,” he said.

Discussing the announcement of new army chief, Khawaja said there was still time left, adding, “I think General Raheel Sharif would want to leave a legacy behind.”
