Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) in the wee hours of Monday apprehended four terrorists during an operation in Sargodha.
According to CTD, on a tip off the presence of terrorists, the CTD carried out a raid at a house in Umer Park near Sargodha’s General Bus Stand, and detained four terrorists.
The detained terrorists belonged to the banned Tehreek-e-Taliban (TTP) and were planning to target sensitive installations. Weapons and four suicide jackets were also recovered from their possession.
The arrested terrorists were identified as Dawood Khan, Mumtaz Khan, Dilawar Khan and Abdul Kareem. They were shifted to unknown place for further interrogation.
