A dead body was found by villagers from a saline drain near village Gul Muhammad Khoso in the Kanga police station jurisdiction near here on Sunday morning.
The villagers informed the police about the body who shifted it to the emergency department of the Chandka Medical College Hospital in the presence of the deceased’s heirs and relatives.
The victim was identified as 22-years Noor Muhammad alias Tariq Khokhar.
Abbas Khokhar, father of the deceased, told pressmen that the family did not have any enmity with anyone. He said his son had left home a day earlier to procure house material and had been missing since then.
He said they had also informed the officers present at Mahotta police station and that they had also been searching for him since then
The heirs of the victim held a protest demonstration and staged a sit-in on the road along with the body, demanding the arrest of suspect. No case has been filed to the moment of this reports filing, as the police say they are probing into the matter.
