Quality training backbone of Rescue 1122, says DG

Punjab Emergency Services Rescue 1122 Director General Dr Rizwan Naseer on Saturday said quality training was the backbone of Rescue 1122 and no compromise could be made on it.

He expressed these views while addressing administration, instructors and cadets of the Emergency Services Academy during his visit to the training institute.

Dr Rizwan Naseer said he was proud of his instructors who were imparting quality training among cadets of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), Gilgit Baltistan, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Balochistan and other areas in an effective and efficient manner.

He said the main purpose of establishment of state-of-the-art Emergency Services Academy was to provide trained human resource to emergency services of Rescue 1122 in order to ensure provision of basic right to timely emergency care to people. He said this training institute had produced over 17,000 emergency professionals for Punjab and other provinces by imparting emergency management training during the last 10 years.

On the occasion, Brig (R) Amir Hamza briefed the DG about different established protocols of the academy and the ongoing developmental projects of the training institute.
