Singer Salman Ahmed was arrested in Islamabad on Friday while on his way to visit Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chief Imran Khan.
The singer was heard questioning Islamabad police as to why he was being arrested. “What law have I violated,” he asked.

Moments before his arrest, Ahmed tweeted, “Getting ready for Jazba Junoon.”
Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan lashed out at Prime Minister Nawaz for putting him under house arrest.
While addressing a press conference at his Bani Gala residence, he questioned under which law has he been under house arrest.
He said all the roads leading to his home had been sealed and his party spokesperson Naeem ul Haq has not been allowed to visit Bani Gala.
Earlier today, Awami Muslim League chief Sheikh Rashid claimed Rawalpindi police arrested his driver and guard.
