Former petroleum minister Dr Asim Hussain, who is accused of facilitating terrorists, was shifted to Jinnah Hospital after he suffered a paralysis attack on Friday.

Dr Hussain underwent CT scan, MRI and other required tests at the facility which suggested the former minister had suffered the paralysis attack owing to mental pressure, Javed Jamali, a spokesperson for the hospital, said.

Dr Hussain is accused of facilitating terrorists by treating them in his hospital, Dr Ziauddin Hospital, in Karachi.

Asim Hussain had also been fighting legal cases against National Accountability Bureau (NAB) over alleged corruption.
