The Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) on Thursday morning killed three terrorists after an exchange of fire who were affiliated with banned outfits in Korangi area of Karachi.
According to Senior Superintendent Police CTD Junaid Sheikh, the shootout took place after information from an intelligence agency. Meanwhile, police detained at least 50 suspects during search operations in different parts of the city. According to police officials, the operations were conducted in port city’s Saddar, Dada Bhai Town and Junejo Town. Detained suspects were taken to an undisclosed location for interrogation. They further said that door-to-door search was also conducted during the operations.
