Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said Pakistan is a major victim of terrorism including state sponsored acts of terrorism and subversion by India aimed at creating instability in the country.
Talking to the United Nations Security Council Counter-Terrorism Committee Executive Director Jean-Paul Laborde in Islamabad he recalled the geo-political developments that have led to the rise of terrorism in the region during the last decades.
He said this has placed Pakistan in the forefront of the international community’s fight against terrorism.
He said Pakistan’s counter-terrorism efforts are guided by the National Action Plan.
The Executive Director of CTED appreciated the tremendous sacrifices and efforts by Pakistan in the global counter-terrorism campaign.
If you sure subversion by India creating instability in Pakistan, why is your priminister not saying the same openly, the impotance attached to statement from an advisor is not the same as that coming from the prime minister, defence minister or the foreign minister. His business interest in Indian steel is much more important than Pakistan's security and national interest.
