About 203 employees of the Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK) were promoted to their respective next higher grades.
According to the office-order, as many as 202 staffers from grad 2 to 7 were promoted to their next higher grades as per service structure. The administration has promoted 125 sanitation workers, 27 security guards, eight ward servants, six peons, four gardeners, three cooks , two dark-room attendants, two lab attendants and junior store keeper.
They have been promoted in higher grades after completion of five to 10-year service. A senior clerk, who was waiting for promotion since long, is promoted from grade-12 to 16 as assistant.
Civil Hospital Karachi Medical Superintendent Dr Jameel Ahmed Siddiqui, while talking to PPI, said employees were promoted in their respective higher grades according to the service structure rule.
