Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif Tuesday (today) reached Quetta after terrorists stormed a police training college killing at least 60 people on late Monday.
General Raheel visited the police training college.
The COAS was accompanied by Director General Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lieutenant General Rizwan Akhtar and Director General Military Intelligence Major General Nadeem Zaki Manj, ISPR said.
The army chief will chair a high-level security meeting during his visit where he would be briefed on the security situation in Quetta. The corps commander south, the DG ISI and the DG MI will also be in attendance.
The army chief will also go to the hospital to visit those injured in the Monday’s blast.
Meanwhile, Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif cancelled all his schedule for today and headed for Quetta to express solidarity with the deceased and the wounded of Quetta terrorist attack.

Three terrorists on late Monday night, entered the New Sariab Police Training College, some 13 kilometres away from Quetta city. They headed straight for the hostel where police recruits were sleeping.
