Special Security Unit (SSU) commandos are providing security to the polio eradication teams in sensitive areas of Karachi during the 6-day anti-polio campaign which will continue till October 29.
150 SSU commandos have been deployed under the directions of Sindh Police SSU Commandant Maqsood Ahmed to ensure proper security to health workers taking part in the campaign.
The commandoes have requested the parents to ensure that their children have been administered anti-polio drops so they are saved from disabilities.
