Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Aitzaz Ahsan on Monday clearly stated his party would not be taking part in the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Islamabad sit-in.

Speaking to journalists, Ahsan said if there was a state-sponsored assault on political workers, the PPP might be forced to change this policy. “We will be closely monitoring the situation and in the case of political workers being attacked and arrested, we might be forced to change our policy,” Ahsan told reporters.

Aitzaz Ahsan further said no institution had helped in the Panama Papers inquiry. “NAB, FIA, SECP and FBR did nothing,” Ahsan said.
