PTI not to back-off until demands are met: Sarwar

Former Punjab governor and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhry Mohammad Sarwar said that the party would not retreat even an inch from its demands.

He was speaking to journalists at his office on Saturday.

If the government attempts to forcibly stop the November 2 protest, it would be a political suicide, he said, and added that free and fair accountability will bring revolution in country. He said that the ruling party’s tactics were not going to work because constitution gives everyone the right to protest.

The rulers want to run government not the country but both cannot work in presence of corruption. Financial policies of government have also been failed as testified by the State Bank, he said.

He further said that Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) does politics of morality and principles and will make any sacrifice for transparency and accountability in the country. The PML-N is using delaying tactics in accountability which will escalate their problems, he added.
