No one will be allowed to shut down Islamabad on 2nd November: Saad Rafique

Railways Minister Khawaja Saad Rafique while addressing a gathering in Lahore on Saturday said that no one will be allowed to shut down Islamabad on 2nd November.

He said that the responsibility to protect the federal capital lies with the federal government.

“We will not give a country in flames to our future generations,” the minister further said.

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan had announced to impose a siege on Islamabad on November 02, to press for its demand of a probe against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members in Panama leaks scandal.

The Panama Papers had disclosed that Nawaz Sharif’s sons Hassan Nawaz, Hussain Nawaz and daughter Mariam Nawaz owning a number of offshore companies.
