Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam (JUI-F) chief Fazlur Rehman said that US was the biggest ‘terrorist state’ in the world and that it wanted to put politicians in the name of corruption and religious leaders in the name of terrorism in jails.
“After causing devastation in the Muslim world, the US wants to imprison religious leaders in the name of terrorism”, he said, while addressing the Mufti Mehmood conference on Saturday.
He said that US agenda was being promoted in the world by linking beard, turban, seminary and religion to terrorism. All the terrorists are by product of US, he remarked.
The JUI chief said that some people were out to create disorder in the country by shutting-down the federal capital for undermining the national economy.
He alleged that the NAB chairman in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP), MD Power project and Khyber Bank chairman have all resigned due to corrupt practices of the KP chief minister and his ministers.
