Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) candidate Imtiaz Sheikh on Thursday won the by-election of PS-11, Shikarpur, according to unofficial results.
Sheikh, who recently quit the Pakistan Muslim League- Functional (PML-F) and joined the ruling PPP, bagged 36, 178 votes against Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Nasir Mahmud Soomro, who came second with 27, 292 votes.
