Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Chairman Executive Committee Najam Sethi has announced that he will not be the chairman of Pakistan Super League (PSL) from next year.

Talking to media in Dubai, Sethi told that inaugural ceremony of PSL would be held in Dubai while concluding event will be organised in Pakistan. He also said that efforts are being taken to arrange PSL final in Lahore.

He revealed that PSL would be a separate company from next month as the authorities want to avoid Pakistan Cricket Board’s politics in the tournament.

The majority of the directors and even chairman would be appointed from outside the PCB, he added.

On the other hand, preparations have been completed for players drafting for the second season of PSL scheduled on Wednesday (today) in Dubai.
