The blue-eyed chai wala who sent the Internet into a frenzy over his extremely photogenic good looks has landed a modelling contract.
Retail site fitin.pk has signed on Arshad Khan as a model — for an undisclosed amount. His first shoot is already out.
The online shopping store in Islamabad posted several pictures of the chaiwala, identified as Arshad, in fashionable attire on Facebook.
The company announced in its post that the 18-yr-old, Arshad will be working as a model for its ‘full version launch’. The online store in a cheeky tag line stated: “Chai wala is no more chai wala, now he is fashion wala!”

The photograph of a Pakistani chaiwala went viral after many women across the globe found him extremely hot and handsome. The photographer, Jiah Ali, went to meet him and now he knows he is world famous.
Pakistani photographer Jiah Ali uploaded the photo of a chaiwala in Islamabad three days ago. Jiah, who has over 10,000 followers on Instagram, captioned the photo “hot-tea”.
The photo that got over 5,000 likes on Instagram, went viral, and online publications took it on themselves to make the fellow a world phenomenon. They shared his photo with headlines that read: “there’s a really hot chaiwala in Pakistan” and “Move over Fawad Khan” to quote a few.
