The US Democratic party have championed Barack Obama’s hip and eclectic music taste since sharing the nominee’s iPod playlist during the 2008 campaign. Now, as the president winds down his final term, he’s revealed his curatorial powers extend to a particularly 21st century obsession: the well-crafted workout playlist.

The diverse playlist has something for everyone – from funk and rock to pop and hip-hop. It includes tracks from Beyonce, Drake, Bob Marley and Black Eyed Peas, among others.

Here are his top 10:

Black Eyed Peas – Let’s Get It Started (Spike Mix)

Nina Simone – Sinnerman

Sting – If You Love Somebody Set Them Free

Isley Brothers – Live It Up, Parts 1 & 2

Icona Pop – Emergency

Forro in the Dark – Perro Loco

Beyonce – Get Me Bodied (Extended Mix)

Jay Z & Drake – Off That

Bob Marley and the Wailers – Could You Be Loved

Courtney Barnett – Elevator Operator

Earlier, the president made headlines for slamming Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump over claims that the 2016 presidential race is rigged, telling him to “stop whining” and get on with his campaign.

Addressing Trump’s allegations of “large scale voter fraud”, Obama said, “There’s no evidence that that has happened in the past, or that there are instances in which that will happen this time”.

“I’d advise Mr Trump to stop whining and go try to make his case to get votes,” he added.
