Punjab Chief Minister Shehbaz Sharif has expressed satisfaction over the peaceful ending of Ashura-e-Muharram and praised the performance of police and other law enforcement agencies.
According to the spokesman, the chief minister also appreciated the efforts of members provincial cabinet committee for making best security arrangements for the protection of life and property of people during Muharram-ul-Haram,in particular, Yaum-e-Ashur.
“Due to their round the clock efforts law and order situation remained under control during Muharram-ul-Haram in the province,” he added.
Shahbaz Sharif observed that all provincial departments and institutions, as well as concerned agencies, worked under best coordination.
He said the promotion of brotherhood,tolerance,patience and harmony is need of the hour for taking Pakistan forward.
