In an explosive press conference, leader of Pakistan Tehrik-e-Insaf Imran Khan asked why the winner of this year’s Nobel Prize for Peace, Colombian President Juan Manuel Santos, make “a victory speech” before the “formal results” were announced.
“There is definitely something terribly wrong in the way the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize is announced,” said the leader from his Bani Gala estate. “The entire system is rigged. Santos has placed his own people inside the committee.”
The leader then told reporters that he was in possession of an audio tape where a member of the selection committee is heard telling Santos about “treinta y cinco pinchazo.”
“Why would a fair and impartial committee choose someone like Santos who has done, what, brought back the prospect of peace after a long and protracted war in a part of his country? There are many people like that. What about the real heroes of this world? Those who, for example, inspire their nation’s youth through sports and their remarkable fitness, even at a later stage in their lives?”
“Hopeless sellouts.”
