Two Al-Qaeda suspects arrested in Sargodha

Police arrested two suspected Al-Qaeda terrorists in Sargodha on Saturday, foiling a possible terror attack.

According to reports, the police recovered from the suspects two suicide jackets, five hand grenades, seven AK-47 and 37 explosive shells. Hundreds of AK-47 bullets were also found in the suspects’ possession.

On Friday, nine terrorists belonging to different organisations including the chief of Al-Qaeda South Asia in Karachi Faizur Rehman were arrested from Karachi. The arrested terrorists were allegedly involved in attacks on police stations and MQM MPA Manzar Imam, murders and illegal possession of weapons. They have been remanded over their alleged involvement in these crimes.
