Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Chaudhary Muhammad Sarwar said he would be going to United Kingdom to lobby for the Kashmir cause and the Kashmiris’ right of self determination.
The PTI leader said he planned on leaving for UK in the next ten days.
He was talking to media along with Samsam Bukhari and others at Lahore Press Club on Saturday.
Sarwar said he has good relationship with UK and European parliamentarians and that he was also in contact with them regarding recent development in Kashmir. “I will put my efforts to motivate representatives of House of Common and House of Lords and other stake holders in the UK.”
“I am in close contact with all members of the EU parliament including Sajjad Kareem, Afzal Khan, Khalid Mehmood and others over recent developments in Kashmir while Anas Sarwar has also raised issue in Scotland parliament and presented resolution condemning the Indian aggression in Kashmir, he added
Sarwar said he would unveil India’s agenda before European Nations that how it is violating the United Nations resolution which endorsed Kashmiris right of self determination. “The Indian propaganda of so called surgical strike is to divert the international attention from Kashmir issue where it is committing brutalities” he said.
Sarwar said naming the incident of cross border firing as a surgical strike was India’s strategy to test the reaction of international community but the truth has been revealed now.
India is threatening to break the Indus Water Treaty while it was already busy in theft of Pakistani water but if any river of Pakistan is stopped, it would be as if India has waged a proper war against Pakistan, Sarwar said.
He said India had been blaming Pakistan for cross border terrorism but to date it has failed to provide any evidence to back its claim. Indian troops killed thousands of Kashmiris so far and Burhan Wani’s martyrdom inflamed the Kashmiris movement, he said.
Samsam Bukhari , while replying to a question, said Imran Khan respects and believe in parliament but does not trust Nawaz Sharif. He added that most parliamentarians lack trust on prime minister and that was the reason why only 63 legislators were present in the house of 442.
