The unanimity of opinion on the Kashmir issue by the opposition and government alike provides evidence that the political leadership of Pakistan stand together against the Indian aggression. All this is a welcome step as it will help reduce the plight of Kashmiris who are facing atrocities of India from times immemorial. The recommendation and immediate approval by the government to reconstitute National Security Committee of parliament to coordinate national security efforts is also commendable. The world community must know that although Pakistan is facing crisis at many fronts and there are differences among the political leaders on many issues however, they are united against Indian belligerence. It is hoped that the political leadership would continue their resolve for supporting Kashmiris in their right to self-determination and stand united for Kashmir cause.
