Bollywood’s veteran actor Om Puri continued to face trouble ever since he voiced his opinion to support Pakistani actors and urged for the sanity to prevail.
He also spoke negatively about the Indian soldiers on the national television. However, he apologised for his disparaging remarks.
Replying to a fellow panellist, he bristled that who told these soldiers who were killed on the border to join the army and pick up weapons.
Following a case that was filed against the actor in Mumbai, another one has been lodged against him by Akhil Bhartiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) worker Shankar Gora yesterday at the Gandhi Nagar Police station.
In his petition, Shankar states that Om insulted the Indian army by passing derogatory comments; hence he committed an act of sedition.
ASI Subhash Chand noted that they are looking into the complaint, adding he also revealed that no FIR was registered about the same.
It should be noted here that the first complaint was filed against him on October 4 at the Andheri police station.
