Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif said on Thursday that any aggression from the enemy would not go unpunished as the armed forces are prepared to respond to an entire spectrum of threats.

General Raheel was addressing newly passed cadets of Pakistan Air Force (PAF) in Risalpur on Thursday.

“Any aggression or a deliberate intent or even a strategic miscalculation [against Pakistan] will not go unpunished and will meet a befitting response,” Army chief said.

Underlining that Pakistan is the responsible country, Gen Sharif said Pakistan will go to any length to defend its motherland.

“India is conspiring to distract Pakistan from its mission to fight terrorism.”

“We have recently witnessed brutality in Occupied Kashmir and aggression along the Line of Control. We expect the international community to condemn fabrications by India,” he said.

He stated that: “We won’t let enemy’s nefarious designs to fulfil”. He said enemy’s strategic misconception or aggression will face a strong response from Pakistan.

“We are highly relentless in defending our motherland against an entire spectrum of threats from the enemy who have been distressed by our prosperity and successes,” he remarked.
