Despite the rising tensions amid Uri attack and the ultimatum given to Pakistani actors working in India to leave the country director Karan Johar still seems to be Fawad Khan’s biggest fan in India.
The two worked their magic in ‘Kapoor & Sons’ and things look set to get even better in the upcoming ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil.’
According to Pinkvilla, when presented with a choice between Ranbir Kapoor and Fawad, the filmmaker reportedly chose the latter.
“I am going to go with Fawad because he’s the new novelty and Ranbir knows I am going to go with Fawad,” KJo said in an interview with Neha Dhupia.
The filmmaker also revealed that he thought subjectively when it came to Fawad.
Earlier, Karan said that banning Pakistani artistes was not a solution to the India-Pakistan conundrum.
Following this, Indian singer Abhijeet Bhattacharya took a homophobic dig at Karan, terming him Mrs Karan Johar Khan on Twitter over his love for the Pakistani star.
-Khan blessed with a baby girl-
Fawad Khan has been blessed with a baby girl.
The daughter was born on Tuesday, the actor’s manager Hassan Khalid told media.
The baby is Fawad’s second child with wife Sadaf Khan. The couple got married in 2005.
Last month, Indian nationalist party Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) gave Pakistani actors a 48-hour ultimatum to leave India in the wake of the Uri attack in held-Jammu and Kashmir.
