In barefaced contempt of their commitment to de-escalate tension, Indian top defence officials informed the government that a medium-term strategic plan was needed to deal with Pakistan as minor skirmishes will not yield ‘meaningful results’, Times of India reported.
India’s armed forces have told the political executive that “only a sustained six-month campaign will seriously damage the terror infrastructure in AJK.”
Top brass and strategists have also told the government that India “should be prepared for repercussions in Kashmir” which may result as a consequence of their own actions in the disputed valley.
Lt Gen (retd) Nasser Khan Janjua and Ajit Doval recently held talks aimed at defusing the current standoff that virtually brought the two hostile neighbours to the brink of war. A senior Pakistani official, who didn’t wish to be named, told The Express Tribune that Janjua and Doval had “candid and frank discussions” on the current strain in relations between the two countries.
It wasn’t immediately clear who initiated the move, but key international players, particularly the United States, are believed to be pushing the two neighbours to re-engage.
Doval was told in categorical terms that while Pakistan sought the de-escalation of tensions with India, it would hit back hard if the neighbouring country attempted any military misadventure, said the official.
Janjua also conveyed Pakistan’s displeasure to Doval over India’s “malicious campaign” of falsely implicating Islamabad in the Uri attack in which 18 Indian soldiers were killed.

I give you some examples: [1] Pakistan's attack on J&K in 1948, provided the chance to Maharaja to accede to India. And India got the chance to enter Kashmir after Maharaja signed the accession documents. [2] Pakistan attacked Kashmir in 1965 and gave a chance to India to open Lahore front in the war. [3] West Pakistan started a genocide of its own citizens of East Pakistan on 25 March 1971 and over a few months killed 3 million of its own citizens. People fled to India as refugees, 10 million, AND India got the chance to free East Pakistan as Bangladesh. [4] Pakistan occupied vacated Kargil heights in winters in 1999 and India got the chance to kill 4000 Pakistani soldiers. — Now, Pakistan will itself provide a chance to India because of its snake nature to enter POK. India need not try. Evil mind will do something sinister and provide an opportunity to India. You must trust your own snake nature.

If that is india territory , they why she lost it. You will not be able to control the territory which you control now. Sometime you people are doing only in name surgical strikes. Sometime the freedom fighter snatch Rifles from your police. Sometime your BSF Jawan is killed and the two fighters are killed on the spot . On the next day the news changes , that one BSF jawan was killed and the attackers were escaped in the dark. Then the news changes that the BSF jawan may be killed in friendly fire. Shame on you people. Be polite , what is this. You people have insulated yourselves and your country in the international media. Please be realistic. Don't dream too much. You are not capable of doing any surgical strike.
