Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) on Saturday decided to ban all illegal Indian channels nationwide.
According to reports, the decision was taken at a meeting between Pemra Chairman Absar Alam and Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif.

Reports said the Pemra chief warned that strict action would be taken as per law after Oct 15 if TV channels and distribution networks failed to follow directions of the regulatory body and continued to use illegal DTH (direct-to-home) decoders.
