Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif on Friday proclaimed that the country was capable of carrying out surgical strikes across India, a nuclear-armed rival, during a federal cabinet meeting in Islamabad.

The premier stated that it was inconceivable of India to allege Pakistan of backing Uri attack within hours after the strike without any investigation or evidence.

PM Nawaz branded Indian claims of carrying out a surgical strike in wee hours of Thursday morning after crossing mined territory on “foot,” false and cleared that Pakistan was capable of covertly landing anywhere in India and executing a premeditated operation.

Nawaz Sharif said, “Pakistan wanted peace to pursue its development agenda but every Pakistani was ready to defend the motherland if need be.”

He stressed that Kashmir was an unfinished agenda of the partition of the sub-continent and India’s continued brutalities in Occupied Kashmir and aggression were unacceptable.

Earlier before the resumption of the meeting, Advisor on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz said that India was using diversionary tactics in a bid to distract the attention of the international community from its brutalities in held Kashmir.

He said, “Pakistan would confront India diplomatically but our armed forces were also fully prepared to defend the country.”

“Support for the just struggle of the Kashmiri people would remain a priority of Pakistan,” he added.

Defence Minister Khawaja Muhammad Asif reiterated while addressing the meeting that Pakistan did not want an escalation of tensions but it was ready to meet any eventuality.

He said, “Pakistan would respond befittingly to any firing by India across the Line of Control.”

If not possible by you then INDIA is ready to do again.

  3. Mr. Prime Minister please take an aggressive approach on this issue and attack Indian Occupying forces. They won’t risk the lives of 1.25 billion Indians for few territories, who also don’t want to be the part of India.
