Tensions between Pakistan and India are heightened after India’s military claimed to carry out “surgical strikes” along the border with Pakistan in Azad Jammu and Kashmir (AJK).

In light of that Indian Army Chief Dalbir Singh on Saturday visited the Northern Command Headquarters in Udhampur along the border to review the situation and ‘operational preparedness’ of the Indian Army across the Line of Control, according to The Hindu.
