An earthquake of 5.5 magnitude was felt in parts of Khyber Pakhtunkhawa, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and Islamabad on Saturday (today).
According to American geological survey, the epicenter of the earthquake was located in Afghanistan at a depth of 10 kilometres.
The tremors forced people to come out of their houses, offices in a panic looking for safer places while reciting the verses of the Holy Quran.
No loss of life has been reported yet.
