Defence Minister Khawaja Asif on Friday said that Pakistan was fully prepared to respond to any Indian aggression during a Federal Cabinet meeting which discussed the Indian violations at the Line of Control and in Indian-held Kashmir (IHK).
“Any armed conflict between the two nuclear-armed countries would cause destruction in the region,” Khawaja Asif added.
Also during the cabinet meeting, PM Advisor on Foreign Affairs and Security, Sartaj Aziz said Modi’s government wanted to avoid resolving the Kashmir issue.
“Pakistan would continue moral, diplomatic and political support of the Kashmiris,” Aziz added.
