As India falsely claimed to carry out ‘surgical strikes’ against Pakistan, which in reality, was nothing more than unprovoked shelling across the Line of Control, Indian celebrities took to Twitter and thanked their army for conducting action against ‘terrorists’ in Pakistan.
The Indian DGMO on Thursday claimed that the country’s armed forces had conducted surgical strikes inside Pakistan, which was vehemently denied by the ISPR.
The ISPR claimed that only two of its soldiers had been martyred in an attack across the Line of Control and that India had not conducted surgical strikes but resorted to unprovoked shelling only.
Indian film association banned Pakistani artists from working in Indian films and as a response Pakistani cinemas announced to cease the screening of Indian movies amid the rise in tensions between the two countries.
