The All Parties Hurriyet Conference (APHC) and other Hurriyet leaders have described Indian aggression on the Line of Control, yesterday, as another ploy to divert world attention from the state oppression unleashed by India in the territory.

The APHC spokesman in a statement issued in Srinagar condemned the Indian action and said that the unprovoked firing by Indian troops on the LoC had only worsened the situation, Kashmir Media Service reported.

He said that there seemed to be a sustained campaign both on part of Indian military and media to create a war-like situation in South Asia to cover the war crimes committed by Indian forces’ personnel in occupied Kashmir.

The statement pointed out that the world community was seriously getting involved in Kashmir while censuring the Indian state for committing human rights violations and using brute force to quell the uprising in Kashmir.

The Indian aggression on the borders, the statement added, is aimed at camouflaging the crimes against the humanity committed by India in the occupied territory.

The APHC maintained that the occupation troops have so far killed over 100 civilians, blinded more than 300 and injured over 14000 through the firing of pellets, bullets and teargas shells against the unarmed protesters in Kashmir.

The spokesman emphasised that India wanted to keep the International community in dark about the situation of occupied Kashmir and the sufferings of the Kashmiri people who were engaged in a noble cause to get freedom from Indian illegal occupation.

Hurriyet leaders including Aasiya Andrabi, Muhammad Yousaf Naqash, Syed Bashir Andrabi, Bilal Siddiqui, Hakeem Abdul Rashid, Mir Shahid Saleem, Nisar Hussain Rather, Zafar Akbar Butt, Shabbir Ahmed Dar, Muhammad Ahsan Untoo, Mohammad Iqbal Mir, Imtiyaz Ahmad Reshi and Ghulam Nabi War in their similar statements strongly condemned the war euphoria created by Indian leadership and media on the LoC.

They said that this misadventure by India would backfire the New Delhi rulers who would fail in keeping the world blind to the ground situation in the occupied Kashmir.

The leaders appealed to the international community to remain focus on the situation of occupied Kashmir and take solid steps to rescue the Kashmiri people from Indian brutalities.

  1. Dear Pakistan-based, Pakistan-trained, India-bound terrorist apprentice,
I trust things aren’t really going well at your end! I would have tweeted but, you know, I'm a busy man. Actually governing a country — as opposed to appearing to govern a country — is a time-consuming exercise. But enough digs at you, because by now, I hope you and your senior colleagues have learned a lesson.

IYou should know that your handlers know fully well that Kashmir is not the issue your country should be fighting for. Pakistan is shattered — both economically and politically. Your leaders must be joking when they say there are ready for a war with India. Pakistan is already is fighting a crisis with its near-empty coffers. Already, 77 percent of Pakistan’s budget is meant for debt-servicing. A $6.6 billion loan your prime minister took from the International Monetary Fund in 2013 — which pushed up Pakistan’s external debt by 79 percent — is up for repayment by the end of this year. How do you expect to wage a war against us? Armed with a handful of IOUs?
