PTI caravan leaves from Karachi to attend Raiwind march

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) on Wednesday began its caravan from Karachi to attend the Raiwind March which is to be held on September 30.

Haleem Adil Sheikh is leading the caravan which includes a large number of party workers including females and specially prepared buses.

The caravan will stay in Sukkur in the evening and will join the Raiwind March on September 30.

PTI leader Imran Ismail said that if someone tried to harm the convoy, they will be given a befitting response while the responsibility will be over the government.

A severe traffic jam was witnessed on Shahra-e-Faisal, which is a major thoroughfare and connects the city to the airport.

The blockage caused immense inconvenience to the public.
