Pakistan Muslim League- Nawaz (PML-N) leaders on Monday took to twitter to celebrate the party’s victory in the PP-7 by-polls.

While celebrating the victory Prime Minister Nawaz daughter Maryam Nawaz and Defence Minister Khawaja Asif satirically made fun of Paksitan Tehreek-e-Insaf loss.

“Dekho dekho kon aaya (See who just won)… Desperate attempts to bring PMLN down result in losing the few seats that you had. You’re over & done with!” Maryam Nawaz Sharif tweet reads.

“Koi aur nahi bus SHER (None other than PML-N)… Another agitation monger down! Praise be to Allah,” she said, while criticising Imran Khan’s party for its anti-government protests.

“IK loses another wicket in Taxila previously held by PTI, collapse of batting order & bowling both..captain becomes a liability, kuch…kuch,” Defence Minister Khawaja Asif tweeted.

Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) candidate Malik Omar Farooq has won the by-election in Punjab Assembly’s constituency of PP-7 (Taxila).

Omar bagged 46,800 votes against 39,655 of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf’s (PTI) Ammar Sadiq

The Punjab Assembly’s seat fell vacant after the death of PTI’s MPA Muhammad Sadiq, father Ammar Sadiq.
