Some unidentified armed men gunned down a former lady health worker at her home in Khawrai area Tehsil Jhangra of Nowshera District early on Saturday, an official of Nowshera police control confirmed.
The official of the police control disclosed that 32-year-old Zainab was sleeping in her home when some unidentified armed men entered into the house and opened indiscriminate fire, killing Zainab on the spot and escaped from the scene.
The official also confirmed that the brother of the deceased, Taj Wali has registered an FIR.
Taj Wali, in his FIR, recorded a statement that around 4:50am, some armed men broke into their house when he was in the nearby mosque for Fajr prayer and killed his sister.
