After failing to justify their allegations and failure to provide any evidence pertaining to Pakistan’s alleged involvement in Uri attacks,Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi Saturday (today) met with the Indian Army, Navy and the Air Force Chiefs of Staff to discuss the prevailing security conditions.
Four suspected attackers had stormed a battalion headquarters of the Indian Army in Uri town of the Baramulla district in Occupied Kashmir on Saturday morning, killing 17 soldiers and injuring 19 other personnel in the attack.

Modi condemned the attack, saying that the attackers would not go unpunished for their despicable act.
After India directly blamed Pakistan for the terror attack at the army base, Pakistan rejected it and said India s accusation is “totally baseless and irresponsible.”
“Pakistan always sought concrete evidence from India to prove its accusations, but it failed to do so,” Foreign Office spokesperson Nafees Zakaria stated in an interview.
